An old man took a little 2-month-old child in his arms and injected a syringe into the thigh's soft skin. The next second, the movement of the body faded, closing its eyes. He laid the baby on the silky bed, and other doctors touched its little eyes.

The village had the ritual. They make humans visionless, and belief says that sapiens have four senses, eyes aren't one of them. Thousands of years of practice, and thus, no one in the village has seen this world. They have strong faith in their ancestors' commands, and yet are illiterate about eyes. They were fed that the eyes are organs, meant to be removed. And therefore, the ritual becomes pertinent.

That brings a question to me, which says, what if ancestors or the powerful have taken our eyes to see the world as it is? What if they make things in this way, so we cannot get what life is meant for?

This life is ours, and as Buddha says, we have to live with bliss, so why are so many rules, rituals and beliefs imposed by anyone else? Don't we have the mind to live it by ourselves? I am sure these words are leading you to think about life and what steps are wrong. And if this making you think and getting out to live by your own rules, that's great. But what makes you think about the problem and change your functioning? It's me, it's my words, it is me. Wait...but you believed that your decisions were all yours. Are you really free, or do you know what influences your decision?
